A quick intro
This is a test wiki, or workspace to experiment with and see if it is possible to provide a useful repository of some key information on policy in Ireland that is inspired by the commentary on The Irish Economy blog. We are interested in using a wiki to provide an easy to access central repository of information and discussion on Irish government strategy, mainly economic. The idea is to provide a place to find key reports, statistics and opinions on the major policy areas in Ireland. There is no way with limited time and no resources to provide all the data that you might expect, but with a bit of time, the power of crowds and wikinomics it may be possible to start creating a central place to find data and, get up to speed and discuss issues.

Should an "other topics" page be set up for Irish Language / Justice / Community affairs etc

Hey Kevin - i reckon why not leave them there for the time being....? we're along way off having anything useful yet and can move them later on if need be. I'm not going to get too hung up on formatting yet. My vision is to have a section dealing with all categories of government policy not just economics. But having said all that - if you feel strongly about changing the format - just let me know how you see the site developing. Cheers...!
